'Where Moss and Ivy meet the Sea' Irish Linen Original
Where Moss and Ivy meet the Sea
This piece is a collage composed of original Monotypes created on Irish Linen. This piece presents a fractured view of the edge of coastal woodland, where it meets the shore; bringing together different view points, colours and compositions to create a unique interpretation, a fleeting glimpse, of the shore.
The Monotype process incorporates working directly with foliage gathered along the Strangford Lough shoreline and using oil based inks in a blue, grey, white with hints of brown and copper flecks. The colour palette has been chosen to evoke the colours of the Strangford landscape.
The piece is mounted on an archival standard white mount board measuring 22x22cm.
This piece is signed and comes with a hand written artist statement.
