Mindful Mark-making Online Workshop 5th May, 8:00-9.30pm
Please note booking for this workshop will close on the Tuesday 27th April to ensure your kit arrives in sufficient time for the workshop.
Workshops will be held via Zoom and a kit will be sent to you with the materials required.
In this workshop you will explore a range of mark-making process when printing by hand. This is a playful process and one I find relaxing, a distraction from a busy mind, and offers the opportunity to explore creativity in a playful way....with no pressure.
During this hour and half I will take you through the process of mark making using water based block printing inks, ink pads, dried foliage, a range of blocks, and found materials. You will work on calico, Irish Linen and papers. A mini Ribba frame is included so you can turn some of your abstract mark making into a framed artwork
No experience is needed. This will be an opportunity to explore, learn, and switch off from the pressures of daily lockdown life.
When you book on you'll receive...
An email detailing the contents of your kit and what you'll need to provide (don't worry there's no specialist materials you need to provide- just a few household items)
A Zoom link to participate (you can use zoom on a computer, tablet or phone)
